The Tree 

The tree, the tree

A leaf saying pick me, pick me,

What could it be?

The leaf did see,

It was something meant to be.

So said the tree,

If it's meant to be,

What is it that you do see?

I see something blue,

That is the tree of you,

Though you do appear green,

You are not like you seem,

There is water near your stream,

Of what you claim to be green,

But the water is deep blue,

That water is in you,

No matter what is seems,

The tree is not always green, 

For the leaves, they do fall,

From the tree that grows really tall.

You are not what you appear to be,

That`s why I said to pick me.

 I want to show you more,

Of life and what you can explore,

Look at the details in the stream,

Running water has a gleam,

In fire there is spark`s light,

Though that spark may really fight,

Sparks don't always come alive,

That fire has a dive,

It is something that can cool,

So don`t be a fool,

Look around and see the grass,

A thing that seems to last,

While you grow, you drift away,

 To the sky of today,

That sky is your dream,

Of the life you have never seen,

To reach the sky you have to make right,

The obstacles that you may fight,

Though you are a tree and you called on me,

My leaf may fall in the sea,

When the water gleams the day,

Don't give up because you say,

I am only what I look and that is green,

Forget what color it may seem,

I know trees can be blue,

I am the wise leaf you never knew,

This an old wise tale of the tree,

Of the story of why you called on me.

The Fish And The Dog

Dark blockade emitting a flash of light,

Creeping around to seek out the sight,

The sight`s light gets brighter as the rays do gleam,

The light is nothing like it did seem,

An amber burst of sunburnt ray,

Is burning the heat of another day,

Candles do gleam as the light may last,

Upon the reflection of the past,

Waters reflect light as they do swoosh,

Upon the water is prancing pooch,

The cold water flicks up as the pooch jumps,

Over the underwater rocks and bumps,

The pooch soaks in the waters drizzle,

Getting the rays of the sun`s sizzle,

The pooch looks fish in the eye, 

The dog is smiling upon a sigh,

The dog`s bark`s are not weak,

Once the dog starts to speak:

"Fish, fish, come here

I will stomp and you will fear

Fish, fish, if you swim away

You will regret a wasted day

Fish, fish, lets have some fun,

Ready? Go. Now run"

The fish swam under the sea,

The fish: The dog is after me!,

The dog: Fish come this way,

The fish: No not today,

The fish swam and the dog did run,

For the dog this was fun,

The fish just wanted to swim away,

and hide just for one day,

Snow and what's behind it.

Snow...ah, Man

In the... Snow, Snow...ah, Man,

This is something to say you can,

Roll a snowman in the snow,

Because you are afraid it will go,

The snow may melt, it may be no more,

Once the snow is gone, there is only a floor,

 Snow is something to make kids hope,

That school`s cancelled, no more jump rope,

End the class just for today,

That's what all the kids will say,

It gets the kids to watch the news,

Rather than taking on their own blues,

Getting informed of what's going on,

Hoping school won't last long,

In the snow, adult childlike nature is seen outside,

There are less adult rules to abide,

It shows each persons personality really well,

There is a lot that snow can tell,

In December`s snow people think of holidays soon,

Acting as though it's here at noon,

It gets the peoples' spirits lifted as snowball fights gather,

Participants who won`t say "oh I`d rather...",

Kids get adults to be children yet again,

They needed it, as an everyday spin,

As the marshmallow snow goes to the ground to meet,

The hot chocolate warmth is at Bellys greet,

      Families gather by the windows to see if the snow is outside and there,

It is a time to see how much people really can care.

Snow falls to the ground gathering bit by bit,

Bringing families together while they sit,

These are the reasons you can`t miss out on something that may go,

Because you are seeing more than you actually know,

From the people you pass, day by day,

You see them differently, in a new way,

As they have fun snowball fighting bundled up for this day,

Realize the experiences you have, and look around at the people of today,

The lives of people seem better than you thought ,

Just let snow meaning stick and bundle your ought`,

Of all the things that you decide to do,

Figure out how snow is just like you.

The snow is an amazing thing. It gets adults...

To be childlike again...

As they have fun getting in snowball fights. The snow is a place of fun.

Allot of adults will claim that their kids make them get involved.

However, deep down many adults were hoping their kids would ask.

The snow is a place of hope.

The snow is a thing of surprise.

The snow is close to many people and animals.

So close it affects us both inside our house and out.

As many people and animals, bundle for the often complained about weather, that is the great snow.

It's funny, snow is a time where everyone is hoping for something.

It's a time where everyone cares...

Watching: -Will I get out of school?

                 -Will work be cancelled?

                               -Will my kid and I have a day off?

                  -Is the snow gonna stick?

                       Looking: -Now let me see if there is snow outside.

                          -At news stations, for information

                                                       -Out windows to watch people or animals play in the snow

                                            -The TV radio for Christmas movies or songs

Snow is a time where the areas affected are all quite aware.

Think of how many are watching the news like this:

Funny isn't it? 

Also look at how much scenery can change in such a little amount of time. 

Think about it. 

People are not having to lay out the snow, the weather does it on its own.

Humans don't have to do any work to get snow, when they get it.

It's provided for you.

An amazing concept...right?

Snow, especially December Snow, brings spirit to the people.

The snow is a bringer of spirit and holiday glee.

You have to look up at the snow. 

It is not something you should just look down on.

Snow falls to be with you. It does not rise.

It is coming to the ground to give you something.

Will you take what you have been given?

It is your choice, and sometimes not even that...

If snow falls on you don`t grudge, just shake it off...

Enjoy the snow...

And reflect on how the snow is like you.

Snow is complicated, yet it appears so simple to us.

Sometimes we think, why can't we just have snow already?

But it is more complicated than that.

Enjoy the snow while you can.

The snow is here to be with you.

And find the Snowman you were made to be...

Thanksgiving, You Should Already Be Full

To my fellow readers,

Since I probably won`t be posting on thanksgiving, let me do it now. Thank you, my fellow readers, for your support. I appreciate it. I hope you enjoy this post. Waiting patiently and eager for the food to come soon,

The time is approaching as it soon becomes noon,

Hunger in life taking and forgetting to give,

That is not a purpose in which we live,

We are meant to be full of cheer,

Because there are supporters near,

Sit in that chair as you give thanks today,

And take the opportunity to help repay,

For all those who cook to give you that longing desire,

You are now finally able to acquire.

Thanks is precious and is easy to spread,

You have the knife now put butter on bread,

Take a thank you and spread it far,

You then will figure out who you are,

Unique individuals are full of a grace,

Now just reflect as you slow down your pace,
